Frequently Asked Questions

How accurate are the ragam results?

Usually, you will be able to see how accurate the results are. This accuracy will vary based on a multitude of factors, include audio quality, the shruthi in which the snippet is sung, and even the singing style of the artist. However, the RF's audio classification model is constantly being trained and improved, so you can be assured the results will consistently be imroving in their accuracy.

Does the model predict rare ragams?

As of right now (in the beta version), the model is only trained on a select few ragams, all of which are well-known. We are always training the model and adding new ragams; we are looking into crowdsourcing audio samples as well, adding to the raga bank.

Is the app easy to use?

Yes, the app is extremely easy to use. If you need help navigating the user interface (of the beta verson), please refer to the video in the "services" tab of this website for info on each feature within the app.
